Download Minecraft 26.10.25 / 1.26.10.25 apk if you want the current Beta build on Android with fresh fixes and small quality upgrades that you can actually feel on a phone.
This is a Mojang Preview and Beta update, so it’s meant for testing. It matters right now because it tightens up mob visuals, trading rules, UI behavior, and several annoying edge-case bugs in Bedrock gameplay.

Main changes in 26.10.25
- Baby Zombie, Husk, and Drowned models: smaller heads for more natural proportions.
- Trial Spawner: fixed cases where it spawned too many mobs.
- Glow Squid babies: now emit light like adults in Simple and Fancy settings.
- Armor trims: visible again on players and adult mobs.
- Name Tags: removed from Librarian purchases, added as a Wandering Trader trade (limited stock, low chance).
- UI: unified inventory search across Creative and Survival, plus scaling fixes on certain devices.
Game content highlights
Baby mob model tweak
This update doesn’t add a new mob, but it refines the look of baby Zombie, baby Husk, and baby Drowned. On mobile screens, the change reads as cleaner silhouettes and less “bobblehead” styling.
Name Tag trade rules
If you relied on Librarians for Name Tags, you’ll need a new plan. In MCPE 26.10.25 / 1.26.10.25, Name Tags shift to Wandering Traders as a regular trade for Emeralds, with limited availability.
Stability and performance on mobile
Most changes here are practical: fewer odd mob offsets in boats and minecarts, better rabbit reactions, and fixes that reduce unexpected behavior during normal gameplay. Download Minecraft 26.10.25 / 1.26.10.25 APK when you specifically want a Beta version that focuses on bug fixes and consistency.
Beta builds can be unstable: worlds may behave differently, add-ons can break, and some bugs are expected. If your main survival world matters, make a backup before you test.
Compatibility for Android devices
This build targets Minecraft Bedrock on Android phones and tablets. If your device runs a modern Android version and has enough free storage for installation and game data, you’re generally fine. Older devices may run it, but you might notice slower chunk loading or UI scaling quirks depending on screen density and RAM.
Download decision guide
If you want early fixes (Trial Spawner behavior, armor trim visibility, Glow Squid baby lighting) and you’re okay with testing builds, this is a reasonable Beta to try. If you only want maximum reliability, stay on the stable release line instead.
Safety and legality check
Your safest route is the official Android beta program (Google Play). If you use an APK, treat it like any install package: verify the source reputation, compare file size across mirrors, and scan the file before installing. Avoid “modified” builds and bundles with extra installers. You install at your own responsibility, and keeping your device secure matters more than getting an update a few hours earlier.

Installed it on my phone mainly for the fixes. The UI feels less glitchy and the mob visuals look better, but it’s still a beta so I wouldn’t risk my main world without a backup.
