Real Ragdoll

When a supported mob dies in Minecraft PE, the corpse is handed over to a physics solver. The body collides with the ground, with nearby blocks and with its own limbs before it comes to rest.

Direction and force matter. A sword swing throws the body sideways, an arrow drops it on the spot, an explosion sends it flying down a hill. No two deaths look identical.

Bodies also react to you. Walk into one and it rolls away.

Rigs for every mob

Humanoid mobs use six part rigs, so the head, torso, arms and legs all move separately. Zombies fold at the waist, skeletons collapse into a heap.

Animals, creepers, spiders and cave spiders get custom rigs built for their shape. The Real Ragdoll mod treats a spider differently from a villager, and it shows in how each one drops.

Settings and experimental options

The Settings menu controls how long bodies stay in the world. Keep the default timer, set corpses to remain forever, or clear every ragdoll at once.

Experimental features add more on top. Drag bodies around with leads, enable ragdoll physics for the player, and show the armor a mob was wearing when it died.
