That rework has trade-offs for builders: Ladders, Vines and Twisting Vines can no longer be attached to Chains, and Lanterns and Bells can no longer hang from the underside of a horizontal Chain. Existing decoration that leaned on those attachments needs a solid block, while lighting plans have to account for the new spawning space.

Those blocks no longer always drop themselves in explosions when tntExplosionDropDecay is enabled, and wool pieces stop sending vibrations when their item drops.
