Realm role actions were not showing correctly for certain roles, so the controls a player saw did not always match the role they held. Those actions now display as intended, and friend profiles gain a Realm join button when the Realm is available, so hopping into a friend’s world starts from their profile.
Joining is steadier as well. Models and textures load correctly when the network connection changes mid-join, players and mobs no longer appear at (0,0,0) minus their items after a reload, and movement speed survives that reload intact. Character Creator skins can also carry names made only of numbers; older builds sit in the minecraft 1.26 apk download list.
Dedicated servers, structure files and the serveridentity command
Dedicated servers now use NetherNet transport by default, and the new serveridentity command saves, deletes and checks the server identity key. Version 2 of the .mcstructure format stores block indices as integer arrays, which cuts save and load time, and files land roughly half the size when the extra block layer is empty.

The maps carry new icons that show where they lead, and the player map icon keeps showing rotation outside the map bounds.
Concrete Stairs and Concrete Slabs exist in all 16 colors, which lets a colored concrete build carry steps, roofs and half-height detail in one shade. Poplar Leaves smelt into Leaf Litter for ground cover, and every remaining Poplar item now sits between the Mangrove and Cherry entries in the Creative inventory.
Cushion behavior and Straw Bed fixes in Minecraft 26.50.24
A Cushion in Minecraft PE no longer pushes a player into the ground when its supporting block is removed, breaks when that block turns into a liquid, and pops into an item when blocks push it. Losing support plays breaking particles and a sound, a named Cushion no longer drops the default item, and Name Tags are displayed.
Sleeping in a Straw Bed no longer parks the camera above the player, and its texture and MERS map lost the floating and over-shiny pixels. Sulfur Spikes and Pointed Dripstone grow at their old pace after running 25 times faster, Spiders and Cave Spiders are no longer slowed by Web blocks, and Totem activation no longer skips a health sync.
Creator side: glass panes, iron bars, copper bars and trip wire now expose per-direction connection states, and in new worlds those changes trigger neighbor block updates for parity with Java Edition, while existing worlds keep the old client-only behavior. The minecraft:sound and minecraft:block_entity components leave the experimental toggle, entity definitions gain Powder Snow standing and immunity to block movement slowdown, scripts can query registered sound definitions, and Editor tools plus entity schema checks get another pass.
