The bug needed a specific combination: a custom block, automatic face UV, and a texture below the expected size. Blocks that mapped faces by hand or shipped full-size textures stayed clean.

Custom blocks are the backbone of add-on packs, marketplace maps, and community servers, so the glitch was never only a creator’s problem. On Realms and multiplayer servers everyone renders the same blocks, so a fixed render means the intended look holds up for the whole group, not just the builder.

With the fix live, custom blocks built the automatic way show clean faces across single-player, Realms, and server worlds, so creators do not need to rework textures to avoid seams.
