Minecraft PE 1.16.40 – What’s new?

Later, the developers at Mojang Studios released Minecraft PE 1.16.40.

And that means you can play the Nether Update with a minimum of lags and bugs.

Piglin brutes

The main task of the piglin brutes is to protect the destroyed bastion from raids by players.

Although these mobs belong to the piglin race, they have distinctive features. For example, if you try to rig a gold armor to get past them like a regular piglin, they will attack you immediately.

This is easily explained by the fact that the piglin brutes do not accept gold. But there’s no way they’re swapping a gold weapon in their hands.

Distorted forest

The most mysterious location in Minecraft 1.16.40. It’s dangerously quiet and covered in blue. The distorted forest is the favorite place of the End travelers. That is why they are very often found here. But if you don’t look them in the eye, you can survive in this area.

It should also be noted that distorted mushrooms grow in this location. They can be used to tame Striders. And if you consider that they are terrified of distorted mushrooms, there is a double benefit to this plant.

You have to put that mushroom on the ground to scare a rogue with a distorted mushroom.

Broken portal

In a wide variety of places in the ordinary or Nether World, you can often find a broken portal in Minecraft 1.16.40. It is a small structure, almost entirely or partially destroyed.

Near this portal, you can always find a chest with valuable things. By the way, it is in the destroyed portal that the crying obsidian is naturally generated.

Striders

As previously stated, Minecraft PE 1.16.40 features such fascinating creature as Striders. They can be domesticated using distorted mushrooms. Striders can walk on lava. This means that players can cross huge lava lakes with this mob.

It is necessary to mount a saddle on it after domestication to control the Strider. Then you have to sit on this mob and control it with a distorted mushroom rod.
